Many people will say, "Hey, it's okay to try it once... It can't harm you that much!" Well, that's wrong.  Whether you try drugs once or take it all the time, you need to know that it does harm you! Drugs will always damage/directly harm the BRAIN!!!


Effects:

-changes the way your brain works
-perception is altered
-activates your brain's pleasure center/circuit
-affects chemical neurotransmission
-causes an interference with neurotransmitters which can result in direct damage to developing/fragile neural connections
-can block dopamine transporter which can lead to a flooded synapse (of dopamine) causing you to feel "high"

Physical:

-infertility
-lung damage
-tooth decay, tooth loss
-heart failure
-respiratory failure
-weight loss
-death
-ADDICTION

Mental/Social:

-loss of motor skills
